The data controller for personal data collected through this site is Emil Augustynowicz (contact: emilaugustynowicz@gmail.com).
What data is collected, and why
Contact form: name, email address, and message content — used only to respond to your inquiry. Your message is sent by email directly to the controller and is not stored in this site's database. Spam protection: reCAPTCHA v3 (Google) analyzes behavior while filling out the form to tell real visitors apart from bots. Visit statistics: Google Analytics (GA4), only loaded after you accept the cookie banner, used to understand site traffic. No data is used for advertising or shared for marketing purposes.
Gallery favorites
If you mark a photo as a favorite in a gallery, we ask for your email address. It is stored along with which photos you marked — only so your favorites list is still there when you reopen the gallery on another device. This data is visible only to the site administrator in the admin panel; other gallery visitors never see your email address or which photos you liked. Legal basis: consent, given by entering your email address (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can ask for this data to be deleted at any time using the contact details below.
Legal basis
Responding to a contact-form message and spam protection (reCAPTCHA) — legitimate interest of the controller (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Google Analytics cookies — consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given and withdrawable at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page.
Cookies
cookie-consent (localStorage, always active) — remembers your cookie-consent choice; required for the banner to work. _grecaptcha, _GRECAPTCHA (Google reCAPTCHA, active when submitting the contact form regardless of analytics cookie consent — used solely to tell humans apart from bots). _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, only after consent) — visit statistics, retained for up to 14 months.
Who data is shared with
Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics (only once consent is given) and reCAPTCHA (on every contact-form submission), under Google's own privacy policy. The hosting provider this site and its database run on. The email provider contact-form messages are sent through.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing, as well as to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
Retention
Contact-form messages are not stored on this site's server — they exist only as an email in the controller's inbox, kept per their own mail-retention practices. Google Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' own settings (14 months by default).
